1、 Performance and application of SWX series color changing temperature measurement patches

The SWX series color changing temperature measurement patch has unique color changing temperature indication, eye-catching display, and temperature recording functions. It comes with pressure-sensitive adhesive and can be applied to the connection parts of substation busbars, as well as to the connection points between busbars and equipment terminals and the contacts of isolation switches. It can also be applied to the casings of electrical equipment such as transformers, capacitors, and motors to monitor the temperature at the connection points of busbars and the casings of electrical equipment. Once the temperature of the monitoring area reaches or exceeds the rated temperature of the temperature measuring patch, the color changing temperature measuring patch will immediately change color. The color of the temperature measuring patch changes from white to black after exceeding the temperature, and the color change is noticeable. Whether during the day or night, it is easy for people to detect the temperature rise in the monitoring area during inspections, in order to identify potential faults and prevent accidents from occurring.

If the temperature of the monitoring area is too high, causing the temperature measurement patch to overheat and discolor, and the temperature measurement patch does not return to its original white color after cooling, it is in a recorded state.

2. Precautions: Pasting color changing temperature measuring patches should be carried out when there is no electricity in the busbar or other monitoring areas, and safety regulations must be followed. If you want to paste temperature measurement patches with electricity, you must use insulation rods of the corresponding level to assist in pasting.

4、 Storage and service life of SWX series color changing temperature measurement patches

1. Color changing temperature measuring patches can be stored indoors at room temperature, away from heat sources (such as radiators, electric furnaces, etc.).

2. Due to the complexity of the on-site use of color changing temperature measuring patches, when the color changing temperature measuring patches are applied to the monitoring area, they can be used at normal temperature and environment, and remain white without exceeding the temperature. The validity period is 2 years. The patch that has overheated and discolored should be replaced in a timely manner with maintenance.
